More than 1.2 Crore Applications forms have been submitted for RRB NTPC 2025 of which 5840861 are for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 are for 12th-level posts. How many applications are accepted and how many rejected ? regarding that next application status will be released
After the completion of the RRB NTPC 2025 application process, The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) announced in a reply to an RTI that this year around 12,167,679 applicants submitted applications for 11,558 vacant posts, which is a very large number. Out of the total applications received, 5840861 applications are for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 are for 12th-level posts. Although the exam dates are still pending, applicants are encouraged to start studying right now because this year’s competition is expected to be fierce.
1.2 CR Applications Received for RRB NTPC 2025
The next step is to release the RRB NTPC Application Status 2025, which will indicate whether the submitted applications are accepted or rejected. After that, the RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 will be announced along with the complete schedule of RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam 2025.
The vacancies announced for the postgraduate level posts [05/2024] (Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accountant Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist) are 8113 for which 58 lakh candidates have shown interest.
The vacancies announced for the 12th level posts [06/2024] (Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Train Clerk) are 3445 for which 63 lakh candidates have submitted their applications.

The criteria for selecting candidates for RRB NTPC (12th level and graduate level) include two computer-based tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), a skill test, document verification and a medical test. Candidates must first take the CBT 1 exam. Only qualified candidates will next take the CBT 2 exam and the skill test.
