SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be of qualifying nature. As per the SSC CGL Syllabus 2025, there will be 4 sections for the Tier 1 exam with 25 questions each. After the preliminary examination, it will be necessary to prepare for the Tier-2 examination. With the exception of Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section III of Paper-1, the primary exam will be administered online and is an objective multiple-choice test. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
Paper-1 will be conducted in two sessions on a single day – Session 1 and Session 2 and is compulsory for all candidates who have qualified in Paper-1. Sections 1 and 2 as well as Module 1 of Section 3 will be conducted during Session 1. Section 2 of Section 3 will be conducted during Session II. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify in all the sections of Paper-1.

Tier-I exam is compulsory for all posts mentioned in the SSC CGL 2025 Notification. Candidates will have to prepare for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams simultaneously.
