BARC Stipendiary Trainee, Technician Selection Process
As per Bhabha Atomic Research Center Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment Notification, the eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of following performance.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Group B):
Candidates who qualify the Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Group B) written test will be called for interview. Interview date will be informed later by BARC officials.

Stipendiary Trainee Category-II (Group C):
A preliminary test is conducted to select the candidates for the second stage, candidates who qualify in the preliminary test will be moved to the advanced test. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Advanced Test to proceed to Stage 3 Skills Test. Candidates will be included in the panel on merit based on the marks obtained in the second stage.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee (Category-I) Exam Pattern 2025
- The Exam will be of Objective Type Questions.
- 3 marks will be given for every correct answer.
- 1 mark is deducted from the total for each wrong Answer

BARC Stipendiary Trainee (Category- II) Exam Pattern 2025
Stage I- Preliminary Test
- ‘3’ marks for each correct answer
- The ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- All candidates with <40% in the General category and <30% in the reserved category will be screened out.

Stage II- Advanced Test

- A Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage 2 based on the scores obtained in Stage 2 only.
- All candidates with <30% in the General category and <20% in a reserved category will be screened out.

Stage III – Skill Test
- Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage 2, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage 3 (Skill Test).
- Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted and enlisted in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage 2.
- The number of candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage 2 but will not exceed 4 – 5 times the number of vacancies in each trade.
- The Skill Test will be based on Go/No-Go basis
