Every year Bihar SSC CGL Notification is released by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission. BSSC CGL Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

The selection of candidates for various posts is mainly based on the Prelims and Mains examination, this exams will be conducted online. The details of marking scheme, negative marking, number of questions, type of questions are given below-

Bihar SSC CGL Selection Process 2025

 Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) will be recruiting candidates for different vacant posts based on two stages:

Stage 1- Prelims Exam

Stage 2- Mains Exam

candidates who have qualified the prelims exam will be eligible to apply separately for the mains exam. For the Mains examination, BSSC CGL is expected to shortlist the applicants in the ratio of 1:5 concerning the total number of available vacancies.

BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

  1. The BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam is a qualifying exam.
  2. For the BSSC CGL Prelims, students will get 2 hours and 15 minutes to attempt all questions.
  3. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  4. Candidates qualifying for the BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the BSSC CGL Mains Exam.

BSSC CGL Prelims Syllabus 2025

The first stage of the selection process is the preliminary examination in which only the candidates whose applications are selected will be eligible to appear. BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern 2025

  1. The BSSC CGL 2025 Mains Exam will be held in the form of 2 papers.
  2. Candidates would be getting  2 hours and 15 minutes for each paper.
  3. Paper 1 will comprise a language paper (Hindi language) having 100 questions for a total of 400 marks.
  4. There will be a minimum qualifying mark of 30% in paper 1 and only the candidates securing 30 % marks will be eligible for paper 2.
  5. For the BSSC CGL 2025 Mains Paper 2 there will be 3 sections. The pattern and syllabus for paper 2 are similar to that of the BSSC CGL 2025 preliminary exam.

Candidates who successfully qualify the BSSC CGL Prelims exam will be eligible for the mains exam. The BSSC CGL Mains syllabus is divided into 2 different papers. The first paper covers General Hindi, while the second paper covers General Science, General Studies, Mathematics and Reasoning.
