CISF Fireman Exam Pattern 2025
There are 100 objective-based questions of a total of 100 marks from the following categories: General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and English/Hindi. CISF Fireman Selection Process 2025
CISF Fireman Selection Process 2025 consists of 5 levels i.e. PET, PST, Document Verification, Written Exam, and Medical Examination. Candidates should qualify for all 5 selection rounds to get appointed to the CISF Fireman position.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
CISF is the conducting authority of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It is the first round in the CISF Fireman Selection Process. Candidates should meet the physical efficiency requirement of a running task assigned to them to complete it in a given time. The running task is 5 kilometers to be finished in 24 minutes. PET is qualifying in nature. - Physical Standard Test (PST)
CISF conducts height and weight measurements of candidates in the Physical Standard Test (PST) qualifying selection round. The height and weight measurements of candidates are taken to know the candidate’s suitability for the Constable/Fireman posts.

3. Document Verification (DV)
After successfully qualifying for PET and PST tests, candidates become eligible to participate in the document verification round. This round is organized to check certificates of candidates’ educational qualifications, age, and nationality status. Submit all your required documents to the concerned authorities in the document verification round. CISF holds the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate participating in recruitment rounds of fireman constable posts.
4.Written Examination
There is an online exam that is conducted of 100 questions and 100 marks. The questions are from sections General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Candidates get 2 hours to solve 100 questions in the written examination.
5.Medical Examination
The last round in the CISF Fireman Selection Process is a medical examination. Candidates should score minimum qualifying marks in the written exam to become eligible to participate in the medical examination conducted by CISF authorities to check the medical fitness of candidates.
