The Delhi police constable and sub-inspector examination is conducted by the SSC i.e. Staff selection commission and Delhi Police for recruiting the constables and sub inspectors.

Exam Pattern: Constable
In this exam there are four sections as general knowledge & current affairs, reasoning ability, numerical ability, computer knowledge for the 100 questions and 100 marks. and the time for this is 1.5 hours i.e. 90 minutes. there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer and the exam is conducted in online mode.
Exam Pattern: Sub Inspector
In this exam there will be the 200 questions for 200 marks and the duration for this is the 2 hours. the section in this exam are general intelligence & reasoning, general knowledge & current affairs, quantitative aptitude, English comprehension.
There will be two additional rounds for the SI exam as Paper 2 of English language of 200 marks and Physical standard Test and Physical Efficiency test.

In this section the topics are history geography also polity of India, science and technology and current affairs. - Reasoning Ability
This section contains Analogies & Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Puzzles & Seating Arrangements and Syllogism & Direction Sense. - Numerical Ability
It contains Simplification & Number Series, Percentage & Ratio-Proportion, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Data Interpretation. - Computer Knowledge
This section is only for the Constable post it contains basics of computer, internet, keyboard shortcuts, cybersecurity and networking. - English Language
This section is for the SI only. It contains Reading section, error detection, sentence improvements, idioms and phrases.
