IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2025

IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains Exam 2025 is an online exam conducted to assess your aptitude, intelligence and English skills. Both Prelims and Mains exams are available in English and Hindi. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The IBPS Prelims Exam is of 100 marks of 1-hour duration with 20 minutes for each section.

  • The IBPS Clerk Prelims Phase will have three sections of 1 hour total.
  • There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in total.
  • Candidates have to qualify all the three tests by securing the minimum cut-off marks for each section decided by IBPS.
  • Sufficient number of candidates will be selected for online main examination as per requirement as per requirement of each category decided by IBPS.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam consists of 190 questions to be completed in 160 minutes.

  • IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will have total 190 questions and duration will be 160 minutes.
  • IBPS Clerk Exam will have four sections with different section timings for Mains.
  • Earlier, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Sections were taken separately. But, as per the recent update by IBPS, these two sections have been combined and total 50 marks.
  • For each wrong answer there will be 0.25 negative marking.

IBPS Clerk Exam has negative marking system in both prelims and mains. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted from the total marks as penalty.
