KARTET Exam Pattern 2025
The Karnataka TET exam will consist of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper will be conducted for candidates seeking appointment as government teachers for classes 1 to 5 and the second paper will be conducted for teachers of classes 6 to 8. KARTET Exam Pattern for Paper I (for Classes 1 to 5)
The first paper of KARTET exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks with multiple choice questions and it is divided into 5 parts with 150 MCQs for 1 mark each. Karnataka TET exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes (180 minutes) and will be in English and Hindi language. This exam will be conducted offline (pen-paper mode) and no negative marks will be given.

Karnataka TET Paper 2 carries a total of 150 marks and consists of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question in the Teacher Eligibility Test carries one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the KARTET exam. The duration of Paper 2 exam will be 180 minutes.
