MP Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
This is a multiple choice exam consisting of 100 questions, which the candidate has to complete in 2 hours. There is no negative marking and marks will not be considered for final selection.
Note: Preliminary examination is mandatory for all candidates. A separate merit list will be drawn up for technical and non-technical posts.
MP Police SI Mains Exam Pattern 2025
After clearing the prelims exam, candidates have to appear for the main exam for which the pattern is discussed below.
- Paper I has two sections, with 150 marks for each section. Both sections include objective-type questions, and all questions are compulsory. There will be negative markings for incorrect answers. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
- Paper II also has two sections: Section A (150 marks) will have objective questions and all questions are compulsory, negative marks for wrong answers and Section B (150 marks) will focus on reasoning and data interpretation, all questions are compulsory for objective questions and negative marks for wrong answers. Duration of exam completion is 2 hours.

MP Police SI Physical Proficiency Test
Based on the marks in the main and technical examination, candidates (three times the number of vacancies) will be called for physical skill test and interview. This test is mandatory for all eligible candidates of 100 marks which includes the following competitions.

Interview
Candidates who successfully complete or exceed the minimum cutoff in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called for interview. The marks allotted for the interview round are 50 which will be included in the final selection.
