OSSC CGL Selection Process 2025
The selection process for Odisha CGL Group B & C posts will be in 3 stages i.e. Preliminary Exam & Main Exam & Certificate Verification. Candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination will be called for the Odisha Staff Selection Commission Main Examination and then the certificate verification will be done. OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The OSSC Combined Graduate-Level Preliminary Examination is a computer-based online examination for a total of 150 marks and will consist of multiple-choice questions. The detailed exam pattern is given in the following marks and table.
- There will be 150 Multiple Choice Questions in the exam.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
- There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The level questions asked will be of the 10th standard.

Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will have to appear for the main exam, which will be for a total of 200 marks consisting of two papers of 100 marks.
- For the OSSC CGL Mains Exam, there will be 2 Papers.
- The questions in Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be both Multiple Choice and Short Answer types.
- Each paper will be of 100 marks and 2.5 hours duration.
