In this article we are going to know about the REET Examination and its syllabus and exam pattern, here we will know about the exam questions marks and its syllabus in detail.

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) to recruit Primary (Level 1) and Upper Primary (Level 2) teachers for Rajasthan state government schools. The examination is mandatory for the aspirants who seek to become a teacher for Class 1–5 (Level 1) and Class 6–8 (Level 2).REET consists of two levels:

  • Level 1: For grades 1 to 5.
  • Level 2: For grades 6 to 8.

Such applicants wishing to teach both classes must appear for both papers.

In this section we will know about the level 1 exam pattern, it is conducted for recruiting the class 1 to 5 teacher.

REET Exam Syllabus 2025

In this section we are going to know about the detailed syllabus of the examination in detail.

The child Development and pedagogy for both level 1 and 2 contains the topics as growth and development, theories of child development, learning and its types, factors affecting the learning, special needs children, teaching-learning process and strategies, learning theories, motivation and learning, assessment techniques, teaching methods and classroom management.

Mathematics for both level 1 and 2 contains number system, basic arithmetic operations, measurement, geometry, patterns and data handling, mathematics pedagogy and the problem solving techniques. And for upper primary level it is number system, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics and probability.

Environmental Studies includes family and friends i.e. relationships, work and play, water, food, travel, shelter, transport and communication, basic science concepts. And there will be science subject for level 2 and social studies as well.
