Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant Exam: Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The Reserved Bank of India (RBI) Assistant exam is conducted for the post of Assistant in various branches in all over India. It is conducted by the RBI. 

This Assistant exam consist of the three stages

  1. Preliminary exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Language Proficiency Test

Preliminary Exam

This is the 100 marks exam with a duration of 60 minutes there are the three section each holding 30 and 35 marks respectively. the sections are English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability with a total of 100 marks.

Mains Exam

This exam is of total 200 marks with a duration of 135 minutes with total 200 questions and the sections of these exam are reasoning ability, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and the computer knowledge.

Language Proficiency Test

After qualifying the mains exam only those candidates can appear for the LPT. This is conducted in the regional language of that particular state.

The final Selection will be based on the Mains Exam and LPT also there will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Computer Knowledge
