RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2025 for Prelims, Mains
The RPSC RAS 2025 exam, known as a joint competitive exam, consists of two stages: Prelims and Mains. To assist candidates in their preparation, we have provided a detailed RPSC RAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2025 and RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern 2025 and RPSC Syllabus For RAS Exam 2025. RPSC RAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The preliminary examination will consist of one paper, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. This exam will be conducted only as a screening test. The standard of this paper will be Bachelor Degree level. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the candidates declared eligible for admission to the main examination will not be counted towards determining their final rank.
Note:
- Multiple Choice (Objective Type) There will be 150 questions, carrying equal marks.
- There will be negative marks 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern 2025
- The written exam will consist of the following four papers which will be descriptive/analytical. The candidate will have to appear in all the papers listed below which will include short, medium, long answer and descriptive type questions. Standard of General Hindi and General English will be of Senior Secondary level. Time allowed for each paper will be 3 hours.
- Candidates appearing in the main examination must secure a minimum of 10% marks in each paper and 15% marks in the aggregate of all the papers in the main examination to be eligible to appear in the personality and oral tests.
