The RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 exam is expected to be held in July or August. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024
The initial screening process for the Assistant Loco Pilot posts of RRB includes online objective-style papers and a Computer Based Test (CBT). This stage has four parts which are to be completed in 60 minutes. The second stage of the CBT has two components. You have 90 minutes to complete Part A, which has 100 questions in 4 sections. Part B is to be completed in 60 minutes and includes 75 questions on the relevant contract.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2024
The first stage of the RRB ALP 2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot exam) includes 75 questions for 75 marks covering Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science, and General Awareness. For each incorrect answer, a negative marking of 1/3rd mark is applied.

Note: The CBT-1 exam will serve as a screening exam to select eligible applicants for CBT-2 based on their merit and normalized scores. The CBT-1 score will not be considered in the final selection process.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2024
The second stage of CBT for the posts of Assistant Locomotive Pilot is covered in Parts A and B. The four subjects Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness are covered in Part A. Questions on related trades are covered in Part B.

RRB ALP CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test)
To be eligible, candidates must score a minimum of 42 marks in each test battery. Only applicants who clear the aptitude test will be included in the ALP merit list. 30% weightage will come from the Computer Based Aptitude Test and 70% from Part A of the Second Stage CBT.
