SSC CGL Selection Process 2025
To understand the selection process in detail, refer to the complete information shared in the article. SSC conducts two-tier selection process to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL Notification 2025.
Stage 1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
Stage 2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper-II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
- All candidates who have applied successfully for the SSC CGL exam will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Cards for appearing in the Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I).
- Based on the marks scored in Tier I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in the Tier II Examination.
- Separate cut-offs will be released separately for Paper-II of Tier-II (i.e. for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), and for Paper-I of Tier-II (i.e. for all other posts).
- Tier-II Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.
- In Tier II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper I and Paper II. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) will be required to appear in Paper-II.
- The final selection list will be prepared based on marks scored by the candidates solely in Paper 2.
Stages in SSC CGL Selection Process
The SSC CGL selection process involves Tier 1 computer-based exam followed by tier 2. After qualifying in both stages, candidates have to appear for Document Verification (DV) round.
