There are three steps in the UCO Bank LBO Recruitment 2025 selection criteria with LPT serving as a qualifying requirement. All prospective candidates must take all three selection stages to qualify based on minimum required marks for securing local Bank Officer positions.
- Stage 1: Online Test- The United Commercial Bank (UCO Bank) will conduct the UCO Bank LBO online exam for all candidates registered for the exam. The online exam will be held for a total of 200 marks. Candidates have to score minimum cut off marks to qualify for the exam.
- Stage 2: Language Proficiency Test (Qualifying) – In LPT candidates should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking) in any one of the specified local languages of that State to which they have applied.
- Stage 3: Interview- Based on the candidate’s performance a total of 3 times the number of vacancies in respect of candidates belonging to an unreserved category and five times the number of vacancies in respect of candidates belonging to reserved categories will be called for an interview exam. The Interview exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.
The online examination portion at the first stage includes 155 questions spread across 200 marks within 180 minutes. The online qualifying exam leads prospective candidates to take the following qualifying local proficiency test. An interview is set as the final step with Online Test weighing 80 percent and interview weighing 20 percent toward the overall selection process.The minimum qualifying mark for an interview will be 35 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories and for other categories will be 40.
